Tamanchgarh is a small village of 526 hectares in Etmadpur Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tamanchgarh depends on BARHAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include, One Well supply, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tamanchgarh's pin code is 283201[4], and village code is 01570400. The area of Tamanchgarh is segregated as 469 hectares irrigated area, the 40 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
