Talwar is a small village of 262 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Talwar depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Talwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Talwar's pin code is 301701[4], and village code is 00767900. The area of Talwar is segregated as 165 hectares irrigated area, 64 hectares unirrigated, remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.
