Talra is a small village of 1575 hectares in Khandar Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Talra depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Talra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Talra's pin code is 322033[4], and village code is 01328900. The area of Talra is segregated as 55.09 hectares irrigated area, 24.3 hectares unirrigated, the 3.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 321.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Talra is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 833 and has total administration over 179 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
