Talkiya is a small village of 1237 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Talkiya depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 85.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Talkiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Talkiya's pin code is 306302[4], and village code is 02391900. The area of Talkiya is segregated as 338 hectares irrigated area, 415 hectares unirrigated, the 322 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 162 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Talkiya is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1025 and has total administration over 234 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
