Talaulim is a small village of 532 hectares in Tiswadi Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Talaulim depends on BAMBOLIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Talaulim is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Talaulim's pin code is 403107[5], and village code is 00007400. The area of Talaulim is segregated as 3.82 hectares irrigated area, 246.49 hectares unirrigated, the 25.78 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 75.89 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Talaulim has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

Talaulim is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 972 and has total administration over 221 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BAMBOLIM and North Goa to sell country liquor and make their living.
