Tal is a small village of 2273 hectares in Deogarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tal depends on DEOGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tal's pin code is 313331[4], and village code is 02970100. The area of Tal is segregated as 57.05 hectares irrigated area, 184.02 hectares unirrigated, the 1254.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 778.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tal has One post office (Tal B.O) and Seventy public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Tal has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Tal is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1832 and has total administration over 463 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of DEOGARH and Rajsamand to sell earthen pot and make their living.
