Takhatpura is a small village of 70 hectares in Dhariawad Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Takhatpura depends on Kanor, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Takhatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Takhatpura's pin code is 313604[4], and village code is 03200600. The area of Takhatpura is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 27 hectares unirrigated, the 29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
