Tajsar is a small village of 1262 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tajsar depends on fatehpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tajsar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tajsar's pin code is 332301[4], and village code is 01664300. The area of Tajsar is segregated as 4 hectares irrigated area, 1156 hectares unirrigated, the 50 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of fatehpur and Sikar to sell ghee and make their living.
