Tahla is a small village of 194 hectares in Mandalgarh Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tahla depends on Jahazpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Tahla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tahla's pin code is 311603[4], and village code is 02925800. The area of Tahla is segregated as 24.83 hectares irrigated area, 28.76 hectares unirrigated, the 21.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jahazpur and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
