Tahirpur is a small village of 50 hectares in Bansdih Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tahirpur depends on Sahatwar (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Tahirpur's pin code is 277209[4], and village code is 09288000. The area of Tahirpur is segregated as 47 hectares irrigated area.

Tahirpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
