Suwasan is a small village of 1337 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Suwasan depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Suwasan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Suwasan's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02773500. The area of Suwasan is segregated as 1102.27 hectares irrigated area, 0.8 hectares unirrigated, the 67.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 166.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Suwasan is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3801 and has total administration over 728 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 999 male, 500 female with 1088 (72.58%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 900 males and 188 females. 288 males and 37 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 312 male and 106 female agricultural labor. 411 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KESHORAIPATAN and Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
