Suwap is a small village of 677 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Suwap depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Suwap is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Suwap's pin code is 342311[4], and village code is 01925600. The area of Suwap is segregated as 387 hectares unirrigated, the 126 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 164 hectare area not available for cultivation.
