Suwana is a small village of 1149 hectares in Bhopalgarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Suwana depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Suwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Suwana's pin code is 342901[4], and village code is 01946600. The area of Suwana is segregated as 248 hectares irrigated area, 825 hectares unirrigated, the 21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 55.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell leather shoes and make their living.
