Suroka Talab is a small village of 65 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Suroka Talab depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Suroka Talab is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Suroka Talab's pin code is 314404[4], and village code is 03355500. The area of Suroka Talab is segregated as 27 hectares unirrigated, the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
