Surjara is a small village of 9990 hectares in Kolayat Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Surjara depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Surjara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Surjara's pin code is 334001[4], and village code is 00531800. The area of Surjara is segregated as 4907.8 hectares unirrigated, the 4424.58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 657.64 hectare area not available for cultivation.
