Surera is a small village of 409 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Surera depends on Kanor, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 51.14% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Surera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Surera's pin code is 312402[4], and village code is 03644800. The area of Surera is segregated as 51.14 hectares irrigated area, 219.02 hectares unirrigated, the 90.42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 48.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.
