Suren Gigoyan is an Armenian-Canadian scientist working in millimeter-wave (mmWave) and terahertz (THz) electronics and sensing. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo and a Senior Scientist at MMSENSE Technologies Inc.[1]

Career

Gigoyan’s research focuses on high-frequency electronic devices and systems, including mmWave and THz sensing technologies. According to the University of Waterloo Centre for Intelligent Antenna and Radio Systems, his work spans applications in spectroscopy, imaging, and sensing.[2]

He has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications in international journals and conferences, including venues published by IEEE and IET.[3]
