Surayta is a small village of 4076 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Surayta depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 500.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Surayta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Surayta's pin code is 306104[4], and village code is 02414500. The area of Surayta is segregated as 677 hectares irrigated area, 1295 hectares unirrigated, the 1986 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 118 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
