Surajpura is a small village of 317 hectares in Asind Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Surajpura depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 6.08% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Surajpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Surajpura's pin code is 311204[4], and village code is 02828600. The area of Surajpura is segregated as 37.32 hectares irrigated area, 101.43 hectares unirrigated, the 73.88 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 104.33 hectare area not available for cultivation.
