Supriya Nayak, is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Odia films. She was runner-up in the 2014 Miss Odisha.[1]
Personal life and career
Supriya was born in Badodara, Gujarat. Her father is a businessman, and her mother is a fashion designer. She completed her studies in Gujarat, Mumbai, and Odisha. She studied journalism and filmmaking at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. While studying, she got the second runner-up in Odisha, and also in that same year, she got the Odisha Style Icon Award.[2]
Supriya entered the entertainment industry through the reality show Mu Bi Heroine Hebi.[3] She debuted in the Odia movie industry through Ashok Pati's musical romance Love Pain Kuch V Karega (2016), opposite Babushan.[4][5] The film was a box office success in the Odia film industry. Her second film was Only Pyaar (2018). The film got good reviews and was a box office success. [6] Her third film was one of the expensive Odia films made Biju Babu (2019).[7]
Recently, she was selected by the Odisha government for the Coronavirus Awareness TVC in her state.[8]
