Suppasit Jongcheveevat (Thai: ศุภศิษฏ์ จงชีวีวัฒน์; also known as Mew (Thai: มิว), born February 21, 1991) is a Thai-Chinese actor. He is most notably known for his main role as Tharn in GMM Grammy's TharnType: The Series (2019-2020) where he stars as Kanawut Traipipattanapong's love interest. His fandom name is known as "Mewlions", a portmanteau of "Mew" and "Millions".
Early life and education
Suppasit was born on February 21, 1991 in Nonthaburi, Thailand. He has one younger sister. He completed a bachelor degree from Kasetsart University and a master degree from Chulalongkorn University.[1] .
Career
Suppasit began his career with a guest role in the Thai Boy's Love series, I Am Your King in 2017.[2]. A year later, in 2018 he received the main role of "Pree" in another BL series named What The Duck: The Series [3]. Subsequently, the following year, Suppasit reprised his role as "Pree" in What The Duck 2: Final Call [4].
In March 2017, Suppasit appeared in the Thai version of the Australian "mock-dating" game show Taken Out, called Take Me Out Thailand[5][6].
In late 2019, it was announced[7] that Suppasit would star as "Tharn" - the main protagonist of GMM One's and LINE TV's TharnType: The Series[8] [9]. The series immediately gained popularity within Thailand as well as internationally[10]. After every episode broadcast, the series would soar to the number one spot of worldwide Twitter trends[11].
Such popularity in the series and the main casted couple, has resulted fans in referring to both actors as "MewGulf - a combined fandom name of their Thai nicknames, Mew and Gulf, respectively.
Suppasit and fellow actor, Kanawut Traipipattanapong won "Best Kiss Scene" at the LINE TV Awards 2020.[12][13] Suppasit and Kanawut have also appeared in the February issue of Harper's Bazaar Thailand, the first BL couple to do so in the history of the magazine[14][15]. Due to the immense outpour of fans trying to read the article, Harper's Bazaar Thailand's website crashed [16].
With the immense positive response[17] to TharnType, a second season was announced[18] and auditions would start in early 2020, with production in mid-2020[19][20][21]. Due to the global pandemic of novel COVID-19, production was postponed to ensure the safety of the actors and crew [22]
On February 02 2020, Suppasit held his first solo fan meeting in Thailand, titled "Mew Special Hour"[23] - 2 days before he was hospitalized for bronchitis. He stated "I wanted to see my fans personally, so I decided to rest and heal" [24].
On March 22 2020, the cast of TharnType, were set to hold their first international fan-meeting (Finally Together: TharnType in Manila) in Manila, Phillippines[25][26]. Due to the current global pandemic, it was decided that the fan meet will be postponed to a later date [27][28].
Both Suppasit and Kanawut made a guest appearance in the 2020 series "Why R U?" as Tharn and Type.
On April 5th 2020, Suppasit reached 1 million followers on Instagram. [29]

Personal life
Mew has a Pomeranian dog named Chopper. He is also a big anime fan, stating his favorite as One Piece. Suppasit considers himself "good at studying" and says he loves to study[35]
