Sunny has composed music for five feature films including Karunam and 27 television serials such as Tapasya, Niramala, Deshadana Pachi, Amana Thingal Pachi.[1] Apart from film songs, he is said to have composed over 3,600 songs, including ghazals, folk songs, melancholia, devotional songs and many more through several music albums.
During the visit of Pope John Paul II to Kottayam in 1986, he led the choir consisting of one hundred and twenty members and composed songs such as Jananirapadum Madhumaya ganam, Svargathin Nathan Bhumikkadhipan, Ajapalan Mamakartavam, etc. Musical renderings of the complete poems of Sree Narayanaguru, Atmanuthapam of Saint Chavara Kuriakos Elias Achan, Angels of Mercy, an opera based on the life of Florence Nightingale presented at the Chicago National Convention of the American Nurses Association, and the spectacle of biblical events that have become historical events, are milestones in the art life.
Apart from books such as Vasudha (Poems), Ten Precepts for Family Life, Music Therapy for Immunity, Angels of Mercy, Adimasanchayam, The Power of Love, Music Meditation for Health, One Heart One World, etc. "Essence of Life" is the ninth book released last year by Sasi Taroor. Also directed twenty five video albums.

In 2020, the University of Jerusalem honored him with an honorary doctorate with the title of 'World Citizen of Humanity'. Diocese of Umtata Humanitarian Missionary Award 2022 [2]
