Sunday Rose Kidman Urban (born July 7, 2008) is an American model and actress, and the eldest daughter of actress Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban.[1] Born into a family prominent in the entertainment industry, Sunday has begun to establish her own presence in modeling and acting.[2]
Early Life and Family
Sunday Rose was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who married in 2006.[3] Her name was suggested by Kidman's father, Antony Kidman, in honor of Australian arts patron Sunday Reed. The middle name "Rose" pays tribute to Urban's grandmother. Sunday has a younger sister, Faith Margaret, born in 2010, and two half-siblings, Bella and Connor Cruise, from Kidman's previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise. The family resides in Nashville and also spends time in Sydney, Australia.[4][5]
Career
In 2024, at the age of 16, Sunday Rose made her modeling debut by walking the runway for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week.[6] She later became the face of Miu Miu's "Duets" campaign, marking her first major modeling campaign. Her appearances have garnered attention for her poise and resemblance to her mother.[7]
In addition to modeling, Sunday has had minor acting roles.[8] She provided voice work for The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019) and appeared in episodes of Big Little Lies (2017) and The Undoing (2020), both of which starred her mother.[9][10]
Personal Life
Sunday Rose is known for her distinctive accent, a blend of Southern American and Australian influences, reflecting her upbringing in Nashville and her family's Australian heritage.[11] She maintains a relatively private life, with occasional public appearances alongside her family at events and fashion shows.[12][13]
