Sundarwari is a small village of 242 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sundarwari depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 21.06% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sundarwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sundarwari's pin code is 301401[4], and village code is 00775000. The area of Sundarwari is segregated as 151.26 hectares irrigated area, 66 hectares unirrigated, the 13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
