Sun Chung (born May 18th 1982, in San Francisco USA) is a noted music producer and founder of Red Hook Records.[1]
Career
Chung studied music and composition at the New School University and then at the New England Conservatory. He started his career as a producer for ECM Records from 2012-2020.[2] He has worked with musicians such as Paul Motian, Andrew Cyrille, Wadada Leo Smith, Eberhard Weber, Kit Downes, Bill Frisell and Aaron Parks among many others. [3] [4]In 2020 Chung launched his own record label Red Hook Records. [5]
