Summer Joy Campbell (born October 17, 1999) is an American actress. Campbell played Sylvie in Bottoms (2023), Norma McCorvey Roe v Wade (2021). She has also appeared in the short film The Waterclock. Other television work by Campbell includes appearances in the series Paradise Lost (2020) and Queen Sugar (2019).
Early Life
Campbell was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, the youngest daughter of Kenneth and Geri Campbell. She has three older sisters, Ashley Ponston, Brittany Powel and Crystal Collinson. She graduated from Central High School in 2016.
Career
In 2018 Campbell played Joanna as the main character in the short film The Water Clock.[1] In 2019 Campbell played Norma McCorvey in Roe v Wade.[2]
In 2023 she starred in the teen sex comedy Bottoms as Sylvie. The film premiered at South by Southwest. Ty Ross of Collider wrote, "Summer Joy Campbell is one of Bottoms' most interesting characters, and surprisingly brilliant in the role".[3]
