Sumadiya is a small village of 170 hectares in Amet Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sumadiya depends on AMET, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.14% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sumadiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sumadiya's pin code is 313334[4], and village code is 02992400. The area of Sumadiya is segregated as 38 hectares irrigated area, 69.38 hectares unirrigated, the 29.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32.95 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sumadiya is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 255 and has total administration over 44 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of AMET and Rajsamand to sell ghee and make their living.
