Success St Fleur Jr better known as simply Success Jr, (Born December 3, 1987 ) is an Atlanta-based comedian, producer, actor, and writer.[1][2]
Early life
Success Jr was born and raised in South Florida before moving to Atlanta in 2018. Growing up, he found his passion for Comedy at the age of 6, performing in churches, weddings, schools, talent shows and more.[3][2]
Career
Success Jr has been a part of stand-up shows like Growing Up Haitian before taking his show on the road, and hitting cities like Montreal, New York, in addition to his home base South Florida.[3] He's most known for creating short videos online portraying his Mother ( Mama Junior) and his up bringing in a strong religious Haitian-Caribbean household.[4]
Before the fame Success Jr got his start hosting talent shows and other events as a middle schooler. With a dream to be on a larger platform still entertaining not only for the Haitians but for everyone. Success Jr has performed alongside notable figures such Wyclef Jean and former Haiti President Michel Martelly.[1]
He said his inspiration for his style of comedy came from George Lopez, the late Bernie Mac, Plus Pierre and also some unknown comedians that are usually grinding in the hole in the walls.[1] He performed at the Haitian food festival Griot Fest in 2017 [3]
In 2018, Success played a pivotal role in bringing Haitian Americans and multiple political figures such as US Representative Debbie Wasserman-Shultz together to acknowledge Haitian leaders of the community and their political agendas [5] [3]
