Subhash Chanchal is an Indian politician and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Uttarakhand, India. He has been associated with the party for several decades and has held various organisational positions.
Early life and education
Subhash Chanchal was born in Jwalapur, Haridwar district, Uttarakhand. He completed his postgraduate education in Economics (M.A.) and Commerce (M.Com.) from Chaudhary Charan Singh University.
Political career
Subhash Chanchal began his political career with the Bharatiya Janata Party and has been involved in organisational and electoral activities over the years.
In 1984, he contested the Lok Sabha election as a BJP candidate. In 1985, he became a member of the national executive body of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In 2002, he was the BJP candidate from the Landaura Legislative Assembly constituency in Uttarakhand.
In 2005, he was appointed State Vice President of the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha. In 2017, he became a member of the State Executive Body of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttarakhand. He continues to be active in party organisation as a senior leader.[1] [2] [3]
