In the nineteenth century, the phrase "strongman" referred to a person who demonstrated physical strength, such as a circus performer who did strength feats. Strength athletics, often known as strongman contests, has gained in popularity in recent years as a result of this. These contests are currently made up of a range of events in which contestants must move the greatest number of weights possible, with the winner being the competitor who accumulates the most points throughout all of the events.
