The Stratford Crier.[1] is a weekly independent digital newspaper based in Stratford, Connecticut. The Crier was founded in 2020 to educate and inform town residents about local issues[2].

The Stratford Crier covers a range of hyperlocal news topics, including town government, politics, education, the environment, arts and culture, health, business and town events.

Barbara Heimlich is the editor of the Stratford Crier[3]. She is a former reporter for the Connecticut Post newspaper and a former professional topical research analyst for new business and new product development.
