Storytelling

Storytelling is a social and cultural practise that involves the retelling of tales, which may include improvisation, theatrics, or exaggeration at times. Everyone's culture has its own set of tales or narratives, which are passed down from generation to generation as a method of entertainment, education, cultural preservation, or imparting moral ideals. Plot, characters, and the point of view of the narrative are all essential components of tales and storytelling.

When used in a limited meaning, the word "storytelling" refers only to oral storytelling. When used in a broader sense, the term "storytelling" refers to methods used in various media to unfold or reveal the story's narrative.
