Stephan Ango (born December 18, 1985) is a French-American designer, programmer and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and chief product officer of Lumi (company), a firm that produces supply chain software for manufacturing ecommerce packaging.[1]

Ango was born in Paris, France to an American mother and French father[2], and was raised in Meudon. Ango attended Colorado College, where he earned his bachelor's degree (2007) in biology[2]. Ango also attended the ArtCenter College of Design where he studied industrial design and met his future business partner Jesse Genet.[2]

Ango was one of the first entrepreneurs to launch a product on Kickstarter with Jesse Genet in December 2009[3]. Their venture became known as Inkodye, and offered a solar-powered textile printing process.[4]

In January 2015, Ango and Jesse Genet joined the Y Combinator startup program to launch the Lumi (company) software platform.[5]

On Earth Day 2020, Ango launched Slash Packaging[6], an initiative that encourages companies to share Sustainable packaging commitments using a standard URL format.[7] More than 60 companies including Amazon (company), Neutrogena and Rothy's have joined the initiative.[8]

Ango hosts a podcast called Well Made.
