Stella Chung (born July 30, 1993) is an American games media personality. Known best for her role for the host of The IGN Daily Fix on the entertainment website IGN.

Early life

Chung was born in Seoul, South Korea on July 30, 1993. She studied at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis majoring in Elementary Education but dropped out in 2014 to pursue career in video games.

Career

Chung started her video game career livestreaming on Twitch (service) on the account Parallaxstella in 2014.

She joined IGN in 2019 as an Associate Gameplay Producer. In 2020, Chung was brought on full-time as a Video Producer. Since then, Chung has been a reoccurring host for The Daily Fix and a regular on IGN's Xbox podcast Unlocked[1].

In 2021, Chung was a guest analyst on the Esports tournament Apex Legends Global Series Championship [2]. She retuned later that year for the Apex Legends Global Series 2021 Split 1 Pro League as a caster for the North American and EMEA regions[3].

Chung was a commentator on the TwitchCon San Diego 2022 Twitch Rivals Apex Legends show[4]. in 2023, Chung was listed as a co-host for 2023's D.I.C.E. Awards alongside Greg Miller (host).

Personal life

Chung is an amateur powerlifter who placed 3rd in her first unsanctioned powerlifting competition on Oct 29, 2022. Chung became a Twitch Partner December 9, 2021 after live-streaming on the platform for 7 years[5]
