Stefanie Arianne (ステファニー・アリアン, born October 28, 1994) is a Filipino-Japanese actress known for her work in Japanese, Filipino, and international films. She gained recognition for her role as Maria in Plan 75, which premiered at the 75th Cannes Film Festival and earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the Malaysia International Film Festival.

Biography

Stefanie Arianne was born in Laguna, Philippines, to Filipino and Japanese parents. She moved to Japan at the age of 18 to pursue her acting career and is based in Tokyo. Fluent in English, Tagalog, and Japanese, she has worked across a wide range of genres and roles, showcasing her multilingual abilities.[1]

Career

Stefanie Arianne made her feature film debut in a minor role in Oh Lucy! (2017) and gained recognition for her supporting role in Melancholic (2018). Her breakout role came in 2022 with PLAN 75, which won the Caméra d'Or award at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where Arianne joined actor Hayato Isomura and director Chie Hayakawa to present the film.[2] Since then, she has starred in various international projects including Cha-Cha (2024), Crosspoint (2024), and Diamonds in the Sand (2024). She also played the lead role of Rio in the 2024 musical stage play Mahal Ko Medley the first ever Filipino-Japanese play in Japan.
