Stefan Max, Senior Vice President of A&R, Warner Records, is a record label executive currently based in Los Angeles.[1]. He's signed artists, including Sub Urban (musician), Vance Joy[2][3] and Young the Giant, among others, that have seen major commercial success[4].

In 2010, Max began his career in New York City as a Director of A&R for Warner’s Roadrunner Records[5]. In 2012, he joined Atlantic Records[6]. There, as Vice President of A&R, he signed both Icona Pop and Absofacto. In 2019, he moved back to Warner Records[7]. That same year Rolling Stone hosted Max on a business panel about the influence of TikTok on the music industry (The Business of Music: “How TikTok Took Over Music”) [8].

He is working on an upcoming album from Gorillaz[9]
