Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington is a Nigerian musician, songwriter, and dancer.[1]

Early life

Speed Darlington[2] was born in a village called Arondizuogu in Ideato North Local government areas of Nigeria of Imo state.[3] He was born in a family[4] of Pericoma Okoye who is his (father) and Queen Theresa Onuorah who is his (mother).[5] Speed Darlington started with his Imo state culture dance known as Egedege Dance from childhood from the influence of his parents who are also a Igbo culture singer and then started singing[6] at adulthood.[7]

Career

Speed Darlington[8] became well known after releasing songs and his activities[9] on social media[10] especially on instagram[11] for his controversial[12] content some people also see as comedy[13] with the phrase “bang da dadang”.[14]
