The art and practise of producing soundtracks to fulfil a range of requirements is known as sound design. It entails defining, obtaining, or generating auditory aspects via the use of methods and tools for audio production. It is used in a wide range of fields, such as the production of films and television shows, the creation of video games, the theatre, the recording and reproduction of sounds, live performances, sound art, post-production, radio, new media, and the design of musical instruments. For the purposes of the media, sound design often includes performance and editing of already produced or recorded audio, such as sound effects and dialogue.
