Sophia Letitia Davis (1799 - 1870), was an Anglo-Irish singer who was one of the Australian Colonies' leading female concert vocalists.[1][2] She emigrated from Ireland with her husband to Hobart in Tasmania in 1832.[3][4] She also taught music and had several notable students. Together with her husband, she also sold musical instruments. The family moved to mainland Australia in 1845.
