Sooratpura is a small village of 114 hectares in Makrana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sooratpura depends on Makrana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1.90% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sooratpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Sooratpura's pin code is 341502[4], and village code is 01883500.
