Sookhapadar is a small village of 162 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sookhapadar depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sookhapadar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sookhapadar's pin code is 314032[4], and village code is 03341500. The area of Sookhapadar is segregated as 40 hectares irrigated area, 34 hectares unirrigated, the 42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46 hectare area not available for cultivation.
