SooJin Anjou (born SooJin Ahn) is a South Korean classical pianist.

As a child, she moved from her native Seoul to the United States when her father, a journalist for the Yonhap News Agency, was dispatched to Los Angeles as a foreign correspondent. She later attended the Preparatory School of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, graduating with the Francis B. Lanier award, given to the top graduate in each year. She received her bachelor of music degree from Juilliard School in New York City as the only person ever to receive both commencement prizes: the Peter Mennin Prize for achievement and leadership in music, and the John Erskine Prize for achievement and leadership in the liberal arts.

SooJin Anjou also studied privately with Ferenc Rados in Budapest, and received her Diplom and Konzertexamen from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin).

Since making her orchestral debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at age 16, SooJin Anjou has performed as soloist with orchestras in Asia, Europe and North America. As chamber musician, she performs frequently with principals of the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg[1], the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. She has a particular interest in creating interdisciplinary projects involving theater, improvisation and video art; she was the music director of the German premiere of 33 Variations[2][3], as well as the pianist in the world premiere of Jacob's Room[4] by Morton Subotnick.

SooJin Anjou has served on the chamber music and solo faculty at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. Since 2016, she has taught classical piano at the Jazz Institute of the UdK Berlin/Hanns Eisler[5]Jazz Institute Berlin.
