Sona Dih is a small village of 343 hectares in Sikanderpur Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sona Dih depends on Sikanderpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sona Dih's pin code is 277124[4], and village code is 09119900. The area of Sona Dih is segregated as 446 hectares irrigated area, 49 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 35 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikanderpur (NP) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
