Solatpura is a small village of 310 hectares in Chhabra Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Solatpura depends on Chhabra, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 63.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Solatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Solatpura's pin code is 325220[4], and village code is 03940800. The area of Solatpura is segregated as 171.1 hectares irrigated area, 89.06 hectares unirrigated, the 25.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chhabra and Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
