Sohan Pappu (born 11 December 2002) in Madhira[1] is an Indian social activist, Vice-chairman at Our Youth Social Community[2] and young political leader. He runs an non-profit organization called Our Youth Social Community (OYSC).

Career

Social movements

He has brought a drastic change in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka college’s and schools regarding the topic of menstruation and Menstrual products by organising campaigns[3]. Large gathering of students across India to hi light the issues. It was been published in Northeastern University[4], Boston about his works in India.

Many social welfare activities were also performed by him in many villages and town in India. Sanitation, water facilities, food and resources, medical support, awareness campaigns, and political campaigns.

He started NGO called Our Youth Social Community (OYSC) in order to enter into politics. He has conducted many social service campaigns in in India with his supporters, volunteers, and members[5]. Eventually he has increased its presence in the society by commencing project on menstruation and menstrual products.

His interviews in national and international media agencies including ANI, The New Indian Express, TEDx[6], and others. He has been recognized with his project in many universities in India and Northeastern University, Boston.

Personal Life

He is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE)[7], and is also continuing his social activities from when he was in the ninth grade of high school[8].
