Software Mind is a multinational software development and information technology consultancy company headquartered in Kraków, Poland. Founded in 1999, the company provides services in software development, cloud engineering, data engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and IT consulting.[1]

History

Software Mind was founded in 1999 by Grzegorz Młynarczyk and Konrad Siatka under the original name WebSoft. It later rebranded as Software Mind.[1]

In 2014, the company merged with Wind Mobile and formed Ailleron, a joint-stock company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.[2]

In 2020, Enterprise Investors invested €25 million to acquire a 50.2% stake in Software Mind, while Ailleron retained 49.8%.[3]

In 2025, Ailleron and Enterprise Investors began exploring options to sell their stakes in Software Mind.[4]

In a 2025 interview with Telecom Review Europe, Software Mind’s general manager discussed the company’s approach to growth, describing it as “big enough to scale, small enough to care,” reflecting its goal to combine large-scale delivery capabilities with personalized client engagement.[5]

Between 2021 and 2024, Software Mind expanded through acquisitions:

  • ValueLogic (2021) – A Wrocław-based software house for e-commerce and Proptech.[6]
  • Code Factory (2021) – A software development company in Moldova and Romania that specializes in sports betting.[7]
  • VirtualMind (2022) – U.S. and Argentina-based staff augmentation company.[8][9]
  • Chmurowisko (2022) – A cloud consultancy company based in Warsaw, Poland.[10]
  • Prosoft LLC / number8 (2024) – U.S.-based company with offices in Costa Rica and Honduras.[11][12]
  • Core3 (2024) – A data engineering company based in Warsaw, Poland.[13][14][15][16]
