Sofia Rose Haft (born Sofia Rose Gross) is an American technology executive.[1][2]

Early life and education

Haft received her bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago, where she was the captain of the varsity swimming and diving team.[3][4] She later completed the Technology and Democracy Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School where she focused on the role companies could play to help increase voter turnout.[5][6]

Career

Haft joined Snap Inc. in 2015, after graduating from the University of Chicago.[3][7] She worked at Snap Inc. for over 7 years and held various positions including News Editor, Public Policy Manager and Head of Social Impact, among others.[8]

She has also previously worked for a Washington, D.C.-based nonpartisan think tank, The McCain Institute.[9][10][11]

She is also a Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.[12][2] She has been the director of communication at Anduril Industries since April, 2023.[13]

Personal life

Hast is married to an American entrepreneur, Michael Haft who is the co-founder and CEO of Compass Coffee.[2][1]
