Sodawas is a small village of 1456 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sodawas depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 140.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sodawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sodawas's pin code is 306401[4], and village code is 02435300. The area of Sodawas is segregated as 151 hectares irrigated area, 798 hectares unirrigated, the 92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 415 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sodawas is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1192 and has total administration over 291 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
