Soda Dhara is a small village of 2738 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Soda Dhara depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Soda Dhara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Soda Dhara's pin code is 342307[4], and village code is 01912300. The area of Soda Dhara is segregated as 2666.4 hectares unirrigated, the 45.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27 hectare area not available for cultivation.
