Smooth Hound Smith is a Nashville-based Americana duo made up of Zack Smith and Caitlin Doyle-Smith. Songs by the band have been featured on television shows such as Nashville, Queen Sugar, and Real World: Ex-plosion. In the past, they have been one of the opening acts for The Chicks on their DCX MMXVI World Tour and performed at Bonnaroo Music Festival in 2015. They are currently signed to Olivia Management, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Career

Caitlin grew up in Fresno, California. She studied at the LA Music Academy, and got a degree at the Academy of Contemporary Music in England. Zack is from Santa Monica, California. He worked as a bartender and solo in Smooth Hound Smith on the side. He sat in with Caitlin's band, Dustbowl Revival, one night, and that was the beginning for the duo. In 2013, Caitlin joined Smooth Hound Smith, singing and playing percussion.
